We've been "rethinking" our Sunday School approach for the past year!  It's been an exciting change of methods - without changing the message of God's word.

IT’S SIMPLE. ORANGE IS A STRATEGY THAT COMBINES THE CRITICAL INFLUENCES OF THE CHURCH AND HOME TO INCITE WONDER, PROVOKE DISCOVERY AND FUEL PASSION IN THE HEARTS OF THE NEXT GENERATION.
First Look is for babies through pre-kindergarten.  First Look gives children a first impression of their heavenly Father and the wonder of His love for each one of them.

The activities tickle all the senses making mastering the concepts a blast. Crazy fun activities to crafts to large group Bible story and worship time to small group Bible time, it’s all part of the plan to help a child believe three key things by the time he’s five years old:

  • God made me.
  • God loves me.
  • Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

252 Basics equips kids from kindergarten through fifth grade with basic truths. The story of God reveals the character of God. That’s why 252 Basics uses Bible stories to teach core virtues. And to make it easy to understand, each principle is supported by a weekly Bottom Line—a short phrase so easy to remember that it can be reinforced at home throughout the week.  In fact, when a kid transitions into middle school, we want that child to have experienced and own three basic truths modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52 (light bulb moment—now you know what the 252 means):

  • I need to make the wise choice.
  • I can trust God no matter what.
  • I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
XP3 is for sixth through 12th grade.  Our curriculum isn’t focused on hot topics or pressure-packed agendas—they are all a part of something deeper, where a deep theology meets practical needs.
Every series we write falls under one of these areas:

WONDER: I’m amazed at the power and mystery of a heavenly Father who created everything, and who loves me and desires to be in a relationship with me forever.

DISCOVERY: I have been offered forgiveness and redemption through Jesus, and His Spirit has the power to continually transform who I become.

PASSION: I am connected to a global community of believers whose mission is to demonstrate Christ’s work of redemption to everyone.

Mature college students partner with adult small group leaders in XP3, 252 basics and First Look.  If you have a college student that is interested in serving, see Ann Paulk.  Orange is the only curriculum that offers a consistent, unifying strategic plan from preschool through college. Part of the overall strategy is to synchronize the efforts of all leaders and establish consistency in the lives of kids and teenagers from preschool through college.

There are approximately 30 volunteers partnering with parents to  INCITE WONDER, PROVOKE DISCOVERY AND FUEL PASSION IN THE HEARTS OF THE NEXT GENERATION.

A light breakfast of sausage or chicken biscuits, juice, milk and coffee is served for families in the social hall kitchen from 9:30-9:55 when students move to their meeting rooms.
